Easy Is Not An Option

Wouldn't it be great if life had an area where you could adjust the level of difficulty. If this were true, it would be smooth sailing for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately this is not the case and we are left to face the challenges of life just as they are.

 
One day a friend of mine told me that they were tired of all of the difficulties that life was bringing them. They had asked me, how was I able to overcome the negative funk that was lingering over me a few years earlier. With all that I had been through, they were not sure how I was able to be up-beat about my future in such uncertain times.

I told them that the answer was as simple as this, EASY IS NOT AN OPTION! When I finally realized that this thing called life was not going to let me go through it unscathed and that it was going to take some serious work, I was better able to devise a plan that would get me to where I needed and wanted to be.

I stopped asking God to make things easier and got on the road to making me a whole lot better. Faith without works is truly dead. We can hope for life to get easier, but the only way to give yourself a better life, is to get busy and take action that will give you a wider range of good options to choose from.

Don't hope that your life will get better, get busy making it better, because EASY IS NOT AN OPTION!
